I was looking around the house for something to use for a coffee table in the living room. The three end tables working as a coffee table was ok, but not really the size I was looking for. I had this steamer trunk upstairs in one of the bedrooms basically collecting dust and taking up room. It's a big ole thing, and perfect for a big ole coffee table! Check it out.
I topped the trunk with a big piece of glass. It fills out the space great! I also changed out the curtains to some chocolate brown fabric I had. The whole room is full of chocolate brown tones and rusty orange and red tones, very earthy feeling.
Just two teeny-weeny changes and this space looks totally different AGAIN.

I randomly like to do at some of the things you use to do. I'm always amazed at how you drastically would change things and make it look good :) I wish there was a way I could look at all your past living room redos :-p
