Glamtastic Pottery Table~ Silver Leafing

I have this large pot that I like to use as a table with a glass top.  Here is the pot,

Then I found these chairs this past weekend.

I want to use them with the table in the breakfast nook area.  But...

That's is a whole lotta brown!  Not the look I'm going for.  So I broke out the Silver Leaf, and got to glamorizing!

Here it is in process.

Just a little more to do, but, almost done!  Stay tuned to see the kitchen nook redo featuring my new glitzy table!

** Update
Here's how the table turned out in the end.

  1. :) I was just thinking the other day it had been a while since you had redone your breakfast nook, but if I recall correctly what was there before was something you really loved. :)

  3. You're right Sandy! That teak chest might be staying where it is (from the last redo) Love that thing!
atlaw - You just can't beat the sheen from silver leafing. LOVE it too! I am fighting with the light in that area right now trying to get a good picture. Will post soon.
