It's just a whole lot of wrapping strips of cut fabric around all the branches and hot glueing them down.
And here you go. 16 glue gun burns and blisters later. She's all done!
My husband actually really likes this branch. He thinks it looks like some sort of sea creature. I don't know, different strokes for different fokes I guess. I could see something like this being cute in a childs room, or even hanging over a crib like a mobile, with all sorts of interesting baby things hanging from it.

I really love it!! It takes something that's used all the time in fall decor and really makes it unique. It's very similar to painting pumpkins different colors. Who says we have to keep things the way nature made them?

ReplyDeleteOverall it's very different. I've gone from seeing half naked people all over to seeing a lot of people covered from head to toe ( a lot of menonites and generally conservative people).
I have good news :) My neighbor randomly gets stuff because he has a truck and people ask him if he could get rid of stuff for them. I saw he had a bunch of wood in the back of his truck and I asked him if it was for a project and he said no just getting rid of it for a friend, seeing if anyone else would want it and well of course I did :) I'm so excited cause there's actually a couple of things I've been wanting and I might just build them....
