What's Your Favorite Part?

Hey you guys!  This post isn't really about DIY'ing or any fun finds.  I'm stalling because I still don't have my "how to's" finished!  Just kidding, no,  I was thinking the other night while writing a post about what my favorite part of blogging was.  For me I think, well I know that my favorite part is actually doing the projects because I would be doing them whether I was writing this little blog or not.  But I think most bloggers would say that.  So not counting that, then what's my favorite part?

I guess it would be a tie between taking pictures and getting to know my readers.  As far as the pictures go,  I could be happy not saying (typing) a word and just posting picture after picture, but that would probably be a pretty boring blog. huh? Or would it????

Then there is the getting to chat with, and know my readers!
That's awesome and actually why I started this little blog.   To chat with other people who loved the same things I do.  All things home decorating and DIY'ing it baby! : )

So tell me... I'm taking a poll!  What's your favorite part of blogging?  Is it writing the posts?  Do you consider yourself a "writer"?  Taking photographs,  thinking up ideas of what to do next...  Let's chat, cuz I want to know!
If you don't have a blog what is your favorite part about looking at blogs?  Do you just stop by for mainly the pictures or mainly the writing or the "how to" or all of the above?  Do you have a favorite part about blogs?

Getting to know you.... getting to know all about you! (singing)

  2. OMG your blog is fabulous! It's so me! The first thing that I thought was WOW this is so "Horchow".
Thanks for coming over to my blog today!
The favorite part of blogging for me is coming up with new ideas and browsing blogs for inspiration or finding like-minded people (like you)! I started my blog this year and it's been great and difficult at times. Since I'm a foreigner and English is my second language it's definitely not the writing part.

  3. I love connecting with people - I love learning about decorating and design, and seeing what other people do. I do not consider myself a writer, in fact, I feel like no one in their right mind wants to read my stuff. And I love showing off something I've done (although haven't done much of anything lately) and getting all the oooo's and ahhh's. And blogging is a little like having a diary of sorts. When I'm old(er) my kids will have a little part of me :o)

  4. First it is the projects. The blogging keeps me inspired to do more and doing more projects makes me want to blog. I would definitely be a lot more lazy if I didn't have the blog (and other peoples blogs) to keep me inspired. The second thing is definitely connecting with people. I love love love getting to connect with people who enjoy home, diy and decorating like me. Your comments mean so much to me Sammy...even if you don't like cats! ;p
