Buffet Before & After With Rub n' Buff

Here is a quick before and after using my new Rub n' Buff stuff!  I found this mid century modern buffet some time ago and wanted to give it a little pick me up.  I taped off squares around the drawers then added a little Rub n' Buff to a cloth, rubbed it on... then buffed it shiny.  It took all of about 5 minutes to do this project.  So easy, and the Rub n' Buff dries super fast.  I used it on the hardware too.  I used European Gold on this piece.

Stay tuned for many more Bub n' Buff projects!  I love this stuff!!

  1. OMG I LOVE THAT BUFFET!!!!!! I have a true addiction to furniture I think. I believe I've seen that piece before in your entryway. I can't stop looking at how much of a difference just those simple lines made to the buffet! The project I've been thinking about for a while is our coffee table. I've gone back and forth on what color it should be painted or maybe refinished etc. We'll see if I ever settle on anything.

  3. Yep, that was the buffet I used for my baskets and buckets post. I love how the gold makes the color of the wood tone pop more. And yes you can darling!! Anytime! We can make those Christmas drinks you sent me! heehee

  5. Yeah I bought our coffee table almost a year ago now lol! From the beginning I knew I would end up refinishing it, but I've also thought about getting another one (a glass one). We'll see. It sometimes just takes me a while to know, but once I do I'm all in.

  7. Ahhh this is so pretty! I have a buffet that I can't bring myself to paint, but want to spice it up and this is absolutely perfect, I'll probably do it the second I get home, or sneak off on my lunch break just to do this. Seriously, I love this project.

  9. Beautiful buffet. Great job. I love it.

I would have never thought of using RNB on wood. I've used it for almost everything else. I must give that a try.

    Thanks so much for sharing.

  11. Thanks for all the compliments you guys! No you don't have to spray anything over the Rub n' Buff. This stuff goes on like butter and stays put like glue!! Love it. : )
