For those of you that have been following my blog for a while... I'll give you two guesses what I did to it, but I bet you only need one! Yep, Rub n' Buff! I used Silver Leaf and Pearl Blue, then, I plopped it on top of my "stainless steel look" desk, and called it a day.
So what do you think? Am I crazy? I will admit that I have a problem with not being able to use things the way they were intended to be used! I think it makes a nifty decorative statement though.

I LOVE IT!!! I'm use to using things for other things too! Why just on Tuesday I finally found a night stand for my husband and it's actually a bar lol! But it works perfectly as a night stand! :)

I love it. I am going to steal that idea! I never use things "as intended". Just in the past several days I have "built" a "desk/work table" out of bookcases and plywood, replaced it with a "real" desk (free), I believe it use to belong to a banker, it has a bank stamp in it, but now it is my craft table. I found a wicker rocker at the thrift store. I'm not sure what color it was originally, but right now it is green and screaming for some rub n buff and I'm keeping it inside. And now I know what I will be thrifting for this weekend. Those (I will need two) will be perfect for hiding unsightly speakers that have been bugging me. Thanks for the inspiration!
