Decking The Halls With.... Chicken Wire!

Back to Christmas!  If I don't hurry up with my decorations, Christmas will be over before I'm finished!
So what's this about chicken wire you ask?  Check it out!  Lots of pictures.

So here is what I used.  A 50' roll of chicken wire.  That's enough to make a forest of trees! I cut it up into large triangles then rolled it into tree like form.  Like a big cone.

I bought several 5 yard chains, of chandelier crystals off ebay, and hooked one little crystal onto every little hole in the chicken wire.  Looks pretty, right!  Chicken wire and crystals... strange combination... but it works!

and then some small balls for ornaments.  Chicken wire balls baby!

And....  there's more!  Then I wrapped some of the wire trees with batting.

Spray painted them... then glittered the heck out of them.

But wait... there's even more.... On some of the trees I used the chain of crystals hanging from the tippy-top of the tree, and let them just hang down the sides.

And... I hung a few on the spray painted batting as ornaments.  On that little short tree, I wrapped the crystals around and around and around from top to bottom! Looks cool that way too.

Now I'm building a gingerbread house, a manger, a few farm animals, garland, and a nutcracker, all out of chicken wire......
Just kidding! ~ HA
